We try to use as few cookies as possible. Below is the full list, grouped by category. The cookie consent banner that pops up on your first visit lets you accept or reject the optional ones.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing AISynvex’s cookies and storage from your browser — the banner reappears on your next visit.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to work. They’re always set; we don’t ask for consent because the service couldn’t function without them.
| Cookie / storage | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* (multiple) | Supabase | Authentication session — keeps you signed in. Without these, you’d need to re-enter your password on every page. | Access ~1 hour, refresh up to 60 days |
aisynvex.cookieConsent.v1 (localStorage) | AISynvex | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics in the cookie banner. Without it, you’d see the banner on every visit. | Until you clear browser storage (or the consent version bumps) |
cf_* | Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot protection on signup. Helps us keep automated abuse off the platform. | Per Cloudflare’s policy (typically session) |
__stripe_* | Stripe | Fraud detection during payment. Set only when you’re on a billing or checkout page. | Session / 1 year (per Stripe) |
Analytics (only after Accept)
These are set only after you click Accept all or enable analytics in Customise on the cookie banner. If you’ve rejected analytics, none of the cookies below are set, and PostHog’s SDK isn’t even loaded.
| Cookie / storage | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_* (multiple, including localStorage) | PostHog | Product analytics: which features you use, how often, where you drop off. Anonymous on first visit; tied to your account ID once you sign in. | Up to 1 year |
What we don’t use
- Third-party advertising cookies. We don’t run ads on AISynvex and we don’t share data with ad networks.
- Cross-site tracking pixels. No Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics, no LinkedIn Insight Tag — none of it.
- Session recording. PostHog can record sessions; we’ve disabled that. Even with analytics consent, we don’t replay your interactions.
Changing your choice
The simplest way to revisit your cookie consent: clear AISynvex’s storage from your browser settings, then refresh. The banner pops up again with the choice reset.
We’re also planning a Manage cookies link in the footer that re-opens the banner without needing to clear storage. It’ll land in a future update.
Changes to this page
If we ever add a new cookie category, we’ll bump our consent version — your existing choice will be treated as out-of-date and you’ll see the banner again to make a fresh decision. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent inventory change.
